I know the Herald has been 'closed' but I don't like being told not to work. I have seen some crazy shit going on outside (I know that Under Armour thermals are thin but holy shit does that crap keep you warm!). I have been diligently documenting everything I've witnessed while roaming on foot and taking Zero out. So long as the power stays on, I can keep uploading to the Herald website. If you've got some good pictures from your own house and what not, send them to me - [[email]] - and I'll upload them too! so long as they are appropriate There have been a metric shit ton of accidents too. Be careful out there, people! I think one or two of the power outages might have been from people hitting power line poles.

I am taking a long weekend for Christmas to head to Coos Bay. I’m leaving Christmas morning and will be back at night on the 27th. Yay! So excited! Just figured I’d give a heads up to anyone that didn’t already know. Zero’s coming along with me. I just couldn’t deny him the car rides and a run or two on the beach. I’ll be in good ol' H-town for Christmas Eve, though!

It's getting cold out. I was thinking about how cold my feet were and suddenly Zero came and laid down on my legs. My dog is awesome, people, a furry bundle of awesome.

In other news:
- I think the Conrad Murray jury is going to vote him guilty for 2 reasons - 1) surely there are Michael Jackson fans in the jury pool since each side only gets so many juror vetoes, and 2) because they're angry that the last scandalous trial (Casey Anthony) jury voted not guilty.
- Does anyone really give a shit about Kim Kardashian's(sidenote: spell check wants to correct that to 'guardianship') short marriage life? She's part of the Hollywood entity, 2 months is like...a blockbuster record for those people, isn't it?
- If Justin Bieber's management team were brilliant and hilarious, they'd rush him into the studio to record a cover of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. Just sayin'.
- This is entirely depressing

Garrett, Beth is gone! I don't know where they took her. I'm so sorry - I fell asleep. Mac said he didn't see them take her. All the nurses told me is she developed symptoms, so they moved her into an isolated room but they wouldn't tell me what symptoms, how bad or where theyvput her! I thought she was okay, I didn't realize she was sick before I took a nap. Have you heard from her? I tried to call her cell but it went to voicemail- wait here comes a docotor, excuse me! I need to know where--

I really hate hospitals. Cat, Mac and Beth are here in the same room with me. Mac said Michele is here somewhere too. Why couldn't they put her in here too? How are they all calm? I feel like my skin is crawling in here. I have a huge ugly bruise on the inside of my elbow where they drew blood yesterday. This has turned into a ramble of me whining. Sorry.

Gar, did you pick up Zero already? If you haven't walk him around the block first or he'll pee in your car.

Read an article on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 approaching, had a moment. I thought to myself, "Fuck, how old am I, now?" For another moment after that I panicked that I was realizing my age. Then I remembered how old Garrett and Mac are and suddenly my world was pretty freakin' groovy again! Thanks boys!!

I love my cousin, but I really miss living without a roommate

So I think I really am going to plan a vacation for myself. I can't decide if I should go in the fall, like after Halloween/before Thanksgiving, after Thanksgiving/Before Christmas or after the new year.

Today was a long day. So much so that I can't even think of any of the whacky usual tales of Layla's misfortune adventures that happened to me today. Maybe once I've taken a nap. Takin' the dog for a walk. Then it's bedtime for this McG. Wednesday night is just damned fascinating for me, ain't it?

I think I need to plan a vacation. Not for the summer though. It's already warm here and there are places to swim. There's also always a less than two hour drive to the coast to visit the rest of the fam and the beach, so that's easy enough. I need to plan a vacation for the cooler months so I can get a break from them by going somewhere...tropical. I can't decide if planning a trip by yourself is sad or awesome. I'm currently thinking it's somewhere in the middle, so I suppose that makes it a happy medium?

I think I have permanently destroyed my stomach. I can't remember every feeling this sick in my life- the last time I ever felt this sick was the first (and only) time I ever ate a strawberry, when I was six. Ugggghh....

Netflix is down. I'm bored. Quick! Someone entertain me! Preferably in musical form! And..................GO!
